The Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 South Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, California, is the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center and was designed by Frank Gehry. It opened on October 24, 2003. Bounded by Hope Street, Grand Avenue, and 1st and 2nd Streets, it seats 2,265 people and serves, among other purposes, as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is a world class center for the musical arts and performances. Visitors are amazed at the first sight of The Hall architecture and design both from interior and exterior. The acoustics and performances are also top notch. The concert hall houses an organ that is connected to the stage pipes. What a wonderful harmony with the orchestras ! It is truly marvelous and iconic structure in the heart of DTLA which has become a one of the major Los Angeles Attractions. Like many other Frank Gehry architectural creations, this building is an architectural masterpiece.
